We spent another day at the Botanical Gardens today with a picnic lunch and lots of sunscreen. Somewhere in there Finn proposed to Scooby-Doo. Scooby accepted. As a mother I'm a bit worried about the children but I try not to judge.
Also? Our garden? Is working! I haven't broken it yet!
Here's proof:
Who knew dinosaurs liked okra?
I think they'll be big enough to survive a transplant by this weekend and then we'll mulch everything up all nice and warm. It will be a small garden, really only stuff I know we'll eat, but I aspire to the type of garden my uncle has down in south Louisiana. It's a jungle!
Green thumb, indeed!
Not much more to report and I need to take advantage of napping beasties to get some work done....

congrats on the big engagement!! i am sure your grandchildren will be very cuddly :)
as for click-a-ble...i meant that the person has a blog you can actually go and visit. you know not someone with just an act, but an actual place to go and say hello. sorry. it made sense in my head :)
I really, really want a garden. But I have no clue. I'm hoping to bribe some family members to come help. Looks like your's is on a great start! Have a great day.
Salutations on the engagement of your firstborn, I'm sure the pups will be a-dorable!!!
The garden is lookin' good, must have a tinge of green on your thumb.
rooby-rooo!
oops, I gave you the wrong info on the irises -- they'll take as much water as you want to give them, they love marshy boggy territory, as well as bright front & back yards. I'll bet you already put them in the ground, too.... If you place them near mint, which is going to get more water anyway (uh, right?) then they'll love you. But I'll be they love you regardless, and are already giving you that first bloom. :)
Your garden is looking, well...studly, if I may say so. But I am oh-so-confused about Mr. Dinosaur. How do you keep him from eating all the okra? Or is he a guar dinosaur that keep all the other okra thieves away?

Oh everyone knows that Dinosaurs love okra. He's waiting unil it's the perfect size and then he'll use his big dinosaur teeth to rip it up...YOHM YOHM YOHM (I think that's the sound they make when they eat)...
CUTE GARDEN!
I hope Scooby is a polygamist (he's obviously bi), because my daughter really has her heart set on marrying him. I'm sure they'll all be happy together.
